The staff are AMAZING. Sam made our stay so comfortable and special with how attentive they were even though I was a late in putting in some of my requests. The person who checked us in told us some really great spots to visit and things to be careful of as a tourist. The place was clean, the beds were nice and we felt super comfortable there. Just a really lovely stay with some really lovely staff. Apparently this is a 3 star? I'm my opinion I've stayed in way worse 4 star hotels, so if this is considered 3 star, it's a very good 3 star, I'd say it's pushing 4. The location is really great as it is only a short walk to the colosseum and some great views. Rome is a walkable city and this hotel is far enough away to be outside of the heavily tourist areas, but other key locations are around a 20-30 min walk away we found. But! On the walks there is an absolute ton to see so you end up just stopping and spending time anyway. I definitely recommend taking the metro where possible because if you have a contactless card, you just tap into the metro for €1.50, no need to mess about buying a ticket at the machine, just tap and go, very much like the London underground with no need to tap out.

We stayed here 8 years ago, when we last visited this wonderful city. What we experienced was identical to our previous visit. Friendly staff that couldn't do enough for you. Our only disappointment was being given a very small double room, with no daylight. The matter was sorted extremely courteously by the staff, and the next morning, we got a much bigger room overlooking the main street. The staff on reception are wonderful, fluent English speakers. Sam was the receptionist for the majority of our stay & breakfast arrived each morning to our room with pinpoint accuracy. It came with a friendly smile & was very tasty too.

I  chose accommodation based on location. The Colosseum is around the corner and all other "most wanted" attractions are also within a pleasant walk. You can even walk to the Borghese Gallery and the Coppede district if you like to move youself a little bit. It couldn't be any other way in beautiful Rome! Nice spacious room, very friendly staff. In the same building on the lower floors there are excellent cafes with fresh coffee and Italian cornettos.

The hotel's location is excellent. Colosseum is right around the corner, Forum Romanum right next to it. The old town can easily be reached by foot, as can the Termini railway station. You can reach the Vatican by foot as well, but only if walking long distances is not a problem. The beds are comfortable, facilities in the room are excellent (the rooms have chromecasts so you can stream from your phone and not be stuck with only Italian TV).

The staff were excellent - very professional, helpful and accommodating. The room decor / lighting was pretty cool and there was a welcome tray of fruit and prosecco. The location was good - convenient to the Cavour Metro and of course the colosseum and Roman Forum. Right around the block on via Urbana there are quite a few nice places for dining and some quaint shops.
